Terms of Sale

Last updated September 1, 2026

These terms apply to purchases from the Olympus Store, operated by Olympus Software LLC ("Olympus", "we"). Buying something here means you accept them.

What you are buying

Downloadable training and compliance material — documents and related files. You are not buying online course access, a subscription, or any Olympus platform account. Each product page describes what that product includes.

Delivery

After payment we email a download link to the address entered at checkout. No account is required. Keeping that email address reachable is your responsibility; we deliver to the address given at checkout.

The download link does not expire, and can be re-sent at any time from the Purchases page. We still suggest saving your own copy of the files, so that nothing you rely on depends on us.

License

One purchase grants the organization that bought it a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the material for its own internal training and compliance purposes.

You may:

You may not:

Olympus keeps ownership of the material and all intellectual property in it. You are buying a license to use it, not the content itself.

Price and tax

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude tax unless stated. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout. The price charged is the one shown in checkout at the moment you pay.

Refunds

All sales are final. The narrow exceptions, and how to raise one, are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

No warranty of regulatory acceptance

This is the most important term here, so it is stated plainly.

Our material is written to address the requirements identified on each product page. We do not warrant that using it will result in any particular outcome from a surveyor, inspector, accreditor or licensing body. Whether a training program is accepted depends on how it is delivered, the qualifications of whoever delivers it, your own recordkeeping, your state's current requirements, and the judgment of the reviewing body. Those are yours to manage, not ours.

We do not audit, certify, accredit or approve anything, and nothing you buy here is an audit, a certification or a guarantee of compliance. You remain responsible for confirming that what you buy meets your obligations, for any program approval you need, and for keeping your own completion records. Nothing here is legal or compliance advice.

Material is provided as is

Except as stated in these terms, the material is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. Requirements change; we update material when we can, but we do not guarantee it reflects the current state of any rule on any given day.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Olympus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, loss of goodwill, fines, penalties, citations, survey or audit findings, or the cost of remediating a deficiency — even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability for all claims relating to a purchase, whatever the theory — contract, warranty, negligence, strict liability or otherwise — will not exceed the amount you actually paid Olympus for the product the claim relates to.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If a limitation above cannot be enforced against you, it applies to the maximum extent permitted, and the rest of these terms stay in force.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. Stripe's own terms apply to the payment itself.

Privacy

To fulfill an order we store the email address and name given at checkout, what was bought, and a record of downloads. We use it to deliver your purchase and to support it. We do not sell it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you bought is the one that applies to that purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to a purchase will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and both sides consent to those courts hearing it.
